Phone calls and related conversational mediums are a sophisticated problem domain – most standard machine learning techniques just don’t hold up against it. Our depth in sophisticated Bayesian techniques has enabled us to build state of the art proprietary technology that excels at conversational analytics. Tom has over 20 years’ experience of building & running tech & data-driven businesses, both technically and commercially. He’s built teams spanning software development, commercial development, management, and boards of directors, and has closed £1.8m of EIS funding for other businesses in the last four years, from funds, family offices and angels. He loves sitting at the intersection of tech innovation and commercial opportunity. His interest in semantic systems dates back to a degree in Philosophy, and perusing a Computer Science PhD in the 1990’s, in Adaptive Systems and Artificial Life. Don Bennion has been working in digital marketing for over 15 years. He currently leads a strategy team in Adobe Experience Cloud, having previously spearheaded M&A initiatives and strategic planning. More recently, Don and his team have been focused on incubating new products and market opportunities for Adobe. One of these includes Intelligent Services, an Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS) offering for marketers.

Dave Neway is the head of product marketing at IBM Watson Advertising. Watson Advertising offers marketers and agencies a suite of media, data, and AI technology solutions to help improve decision-making and reduce costs across key facets of the marketing lifecycle – from media planning through measurement.
In this role, Neway is responsible for ideating the go-to-market strategy for all Watson Advertising offerings. He works closely with the offering management team and key stakeholders to position, price, and present Watson Advertising’s products across media, data and technology categories to the marketplace. Previously, Neway was director of sales strategy, where he created, developed, and executed plans to drive business across consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and financial services.
Prior to Watson Advertising, Neway was a director of strategic solutions at Pandora. During his tenure, he achieved double-digit revenue growth within the CPG and entertainment verticals by drawing upon his previous experiences in brand management at Unilever for Klondike, Good Humor Ice Cream, and Vaseline; and in entertainment as an agent at Columbia Artists Management, where he represented the likes of Renee Fleming, Randy Newman, The New York Philharmonic and STOMP!
Neway holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In his elusive free time, Neway is an avid classical pianist and woodwind player, as well as a polyglot (Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and German).
